
Rene Jenkins
René Jenkins is a professional musician, Ceremonial Sound Practitioner, Healing Performance and Recording Artist from Sonoma, California. For more than 30 years, René performs sound healing concerts, blessings and ceremonies for individuals and special groups throughout the US and internationally. While embracing the ancestral wisdom from cross-cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien, Kashaya-Pomo elder/healer Lorin Smith, and renowned South American sound healer/musician Tito La Rosa, René raises consciousness-vibration through Sacred Sound and Intention.
Dr. Zeiger raced as a professional triathlete from 1998-2010. During that time, she placed 4th in the triathlon at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and placed 5th in the Hawaii Ironman 5 weeks later and won the 2008 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in world record time. She is a seven-time Olympic trials qualifier in 3 sports – marathon (3), triathlon (3) and swimming (1).
Through her company Race Ready Coaching, Dr. Zeiger works with endurance athletes of all ages and abilities reach their athletic goals with personalized training plans that develop physical fitness and hone mental skills. Her book The Champion Mindset: An Athlete’s Guide to Mental Toughness (St. Martin’s Press) was published in February, 2017.
Zeiger’s education took her to Brown University (BA), Northwestern University (MS), and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (PhD).
